"Icarus under the moon" is a dream of flying to the moon without the worry of falling. To fly in the sky, using all imaginable tools, is the principle concept of this project. In the original myth, Icarus nearly flew to the sun, when he lost his wings; but in my version, "Icarus under the moon", he is able to fly beyond the moon.

The actual dream of flying is possible for everyone.  We can make wings ourselves; and if we follow the rules, we cannot fall or fail.  We could simply buy a plane ticket and board a plane.  We could take a space shuttle and go further in flight than any bird.  Still, even this type of flight does not adequately satisfy our dreams.  The phrase, "dream of flying" usually omits the three important words, "like a bird. The universal dream of flying is often a dream of flying with no visible support or apparatus. To dream of flying as a bird flies is both impossible and dangerous. It is the mission of the artist to realize such an impossible dream.

To infuse more reality into the imaginary, art employs the highest technologies of the age.  It is important to distinguish that art does not use technology in order that we can fly, but in order that we can dream of flying.  Art is safer than science, since in art we can overstep our limits, whereas in science to do so is dangerous.
